Art of MESS (Mull & Iona Enviromentally Sensitive Solutions)
First stage of an ongoing project in collaboration with Argyll College - University of Highlands & Islands and MESS.
The Art of MESS project and event is about re-cycling discarded objects, clothing, furniture and making it into art. The idea is to see the creative potential of what is cast away and transform it into something that is inspired. It is about being resourceful, imaginative, inventive and finding artistic solutions in unexpected ways. This is what contemporary art does. On the course we will look at the work of artists who have used the most diverse and unusual materials to make art objects that are surprising and thought provoking.
